I play music in the studio and in live venues with Baptiste Ibar, David Cieri, Kenny Cambre, and Putnam Murdock among various other projects and players. I am proud to have shared the stage with Neil Young, Primus, Beck and many other amazing artists. I have studied the drums since I was six years old. I'm grateful to have worked for the good people at Advintage Fine Wine and Craft Beer in Charleston, SC up until the point that I was ready to work exclusively on Brazos. We landed Brazos' first container in July of 2009. In 2005 I went to work for the Kobrand Corporation in New York and the Carolinas. During that time I became a Certified Specialist of Wine with the Society of Wine Educators. I transferred with Gallo to Colorado to help open an on-premise distributor. I headed West and worked for Gallo in San Francisco and studied Wine at UC Berkeley. In 2000, I bought wine for a gourmet food and wine store in Palm Beach and began working in distribution for Vinifera Imports in South Florida. It has been extremely affirming to partner with some of the best distributors in the country. We are very proud of the caliber of accounts that pour and sell our wine. Independent restaurants, bottle shoppes and some select small regional groups comprise the majority of the trade that buys our wine. We strive to be proactive in the marketplace and hang our hat on our reputation. We are passionate about the wineries we represent and are committed to doing everything we can to support the Distributors, Retailers, and Restauranteurs that we work with. We spend the majority of our time working the market to grow our brands organically. Please note that we warehouse state-side at Adobe Creek in Petaluma, CA (Sonoma County). Our wines are always shipped and stored in temperature controlled environments. The wines we represent all share an old world, terroir-centric style which we believe are unique and rare qualities to find in South America.

We focus on artisanal, single vineyard, small production, estate grown, environmentally friendly wines. We import wine from twelve different producers located in some of the best sub-regions of Argentina and Chile. We are humbled to represent a lean and mean portfolio that we distribute through one of the very best wholesale networks in the USA. We have both completed multiple wine-study certifications, but more importantly, we are painstakingly passionate about food and wine. Throughout our careers we have worked in almost every facet of the wine business (F&B, Retail, Production, Distribution and Supply). We landed our first container of wine in 2009. Brazos Wine Imports is owned and operated by Brian Ravitsky and Jon Chaplin.
